Church Beliefs: Our Faith Statement
       
 

The Church of the Brethren:

Confesses Jesus Christ as the Lord of the church and of all life.

Believes:
       
 
- that the gospel is good news that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself.
   
- through the gospel God’s sovereign will and Christ’s redeeming grace are revealed.
   
- that the Holy Spirit is at work in the hearts and mind of believers, giving guidance and comfort, and uniting believers with Christ and with one another.
   
- the church is the body of Christ.
   
- that our role is to live as sisters and brothers under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
   
 
  Maintains the New Testament as our creed. Through the Bible God speaks and continues to accomplish His redemptive purpose.

Considers that all members of the congregation, are responsible for the ministry of the church.

We dream of a day when all persons in the world will be brought into this family relationship.
